About the fund

We are a Charitable Organization

“Charitable Foundation
“UKRAINE IS YOU"

We are a team of caring people united by special values.

Making ‘help’ our core mission, our foundation strives to assist those in need.

History:

The history of our charitable foundation is a vivid example of caring and many years of experience of people eager to help those who need our support now. The founder of the fund is Yury Dyachenko, who has been involved in charity for over ten years, supporting children with disabilities and specialized educational institutions for children with special needs in Kyiv and the Kyiv region.

From the very beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, a group of active people who were not indifferent to the fate of their country gathered around Yuri Dyachenko. From the earliest days of the resistance, they organized assistance for the Defense Forces military, delivering water, food, medical supplies, and other necessary things to the defenders of Kyiv. In the direction of Dymer, Irpen, and Bucha, the volunteer unit organized several stabilization medical centers where the military received the necessary assistance.

Later, one of the first missions completed by our group of volunteers was providing humanitarian aid to civilians in the de-occupied settlements of the Kyiv region. We delivered clothes, medicines, and other necessary things for citizens who suffered from armed aggression.

Over time, the scope of the volunteer group’s activities increased significantly, and there was a need to create a charitable organization. Thanks to this, more than two years ago, the charity fund “Ukraine is YOU” was created. Over the years, we have developed and now work in several main directions, using the accumulated experience and enthusiasm of our team, as well as the support of partners, sponsors, and caring citizens of Ukraine:

– We support units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine by holding fundraisers to provide them with the necessary material resources to maintain combat readiness.

– We help wounded soldiers by supporting them at stabilization points and medical facilities.

– We assist children with disabilities, particularly those in the front-line areas.

– We help families of internally displaced persons (IDPs) who have children with disabilities, orphaned children, and pregnant women with IDP status who are in Kyiv and the Kyiv region.

We call on all caring people of the world, patriots of Ukraine, and foreign benefactors to support our fund. We are open to cooperation and are ready to do everything possible to bring our victory closer and achieve fundamental changes in the lives of people who need our help.

Mission:

Our charitable foundation’s mission is to support those who need help and support in this difficult time. Our team’s experience and enthusiasm allow us to work effectively in several key areas.

The first is assistance to units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. We recognize that military personnel put their health and lives on the line for our safety.

Therefore, our foundation provides essential support in the form of food, equipment (quadrocopters, thermal imagers, communication devices), medical supplies, and other material resources that help maintain the combat capability and efficiency of the troops.

The second direction is assistance to wounded soldiers in stabilization points and medical facilities. We believe every life is precious, and we help bring hope back to our heroes who have been injured in battle. Volunteers of the foundation regularly deliver the humanitarian aid collected and received from partners and sponsors to medical facilities and stabilization points in the frontline and de-occupied areas of the eastern regions of Ukraine to help return our wounded soldiers to a whole life.

The third area of our activity is helping children with disabilities, including in the frontline and de-occupied areas of the eastern regions of Ukraine. These children need especially warm treatment and care. Thanks to the support of our foundation, children with disabilities receive not only the necessary food, clothes, toys, and delicious gifts but also feel that they are surrounded by care and love.

The fourth direction of the regular work of the foundation’s volunteers is to help families of forcibly displaced persons with children with disabilities, orphans, and pregnant women with the status of IDPs who are in the city of Kyiv and the Kyiv region. We understand that these families face great difficulties and have lost their familiar environment. Our foundation provides both material and moral support, helping deliver the necessary goods and support in difficult life situations.

Our charitable foundation aims to significantly improve the lives of those in a difficult life situation, especially in military conflict. We believe that every person deserves decent treatment and hope for the future.

The mission of our foundation is to give faith in the best and to help our wounded soldiers and families with children with disabilities find the strength to overcome difficulties and achieve their goals. Thanks to your support and the enthusiasm of our team, we can do a lot and achieve real changes in the lives of people who need our help.
