From the very beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, a group of active people who were not indifferent to the fate of their country gathered around Yuri Dyachenko. From the earliest days of the resistance, they organized assistance for the Defense Forces military, delivering water, food, medical supplies, and other necessary things to the defenders of Kyiv. In the direction of Dymer, Irpen, and Bucha, the volunteer unit organized several stabilization medical centers where the military received the necessary assistance.
Later, one of the first missions completed by our group of volunteers was providing humanitarian aid to civilians in the de-occupied settlements of the Kyiv region. We delivered clothes, medicines, and other necessary things for citizens who suffered from armed aggression.
Over time, the scope of the volunteer group’s activities increased significantly, and there was a need to create a charitable organization. Thanks to this, more than two years ago, the charity fund “Ukraine is YOU” was created. Over the years, we have developed and now work in several main directions, using the accumulated experience and enthusiasm of our team, as well as the support of partners, sponsors, and caring citizens of Ukraine:
– We support units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine by holding fundraisers to provide them with the necessary material resources to maintain combat readiness.
– We help wounded soldiers by supporting them at stabilization points and medical facilities.
– We assist children with disabilities, particularly those in the front-line areas.
– We help families of internally displaced persons (IDPs) who have children with disabilities, orphaned children, and pregnant women with IDP status who are in Kyiv and the Kyiv region.
We call on all caring people of the world, patriots of Ukraine, and foreign benefactors to support our fund. We are open to cooperation and are ready to do everything possible to bring our victory closer and achieve fundamental changes in the lives of people who need our help.
