Baby diapers donated by our Lithuanian friends have played and continue to play a huge role in easing the lives of our Ukrainian children, adults, and families who are currently in difficult life circumstances due to the war. We, the volunteers and our beneficiaries, are very grateful to the volunteers from brotherly Lithuania for their care and support.
We included these diapers in the humanitarian aid kits that were delivered and distributed to low-income families of IDPs with children and families with children with disabilities during our trips to the de-occupied and front-line areas of the eastern regions of Ukraine – to the cities of Mykolaivka, Kostyantynivka, Sloviansk, and Kramatorsk. Children with disabilities and families of IDPs with children also received these diapers, which are so necessary for babies, in the city of Zaporizhzhia.
Additionally, our foundation’s volunteers regularly distribute diapers every week at our aid point on Pochaina in Kyiv to families with IDP status from Kharkiv, Donetsk, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions, who currently live in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, and who have children with disabilities and pregnant women in the late stages of pregnancy.
Our joint charity work and the assistance of Lithuanian volunteers prove that true friendship and solidarity can overcome any distance and know no borders.
Once again, we sincerely thank you, our friends from Lithuania, for your generosity and kindness. We are grateful for your presence!
