VSupporting Families Who Find It Especially Difficult to Cope on Their Own
The war has made life significantly more difficult for thousands of Ukrainian families. Families raising children with disabilities, large families, and internally displaced persons remain particularly vulnerable.
For these families, even basic everyday necessities — food, baby food, hygiene products, and care supplies — can become a serious challenge.
The Ukraine Is You Charitable Foundation regularly provides targeted humanitarian assistance to families in frontline communities, Kyiv, and the Kyiv region.
Who We Help
Assistance may be provided to:
- families raising children with disabilities;
- internally displaced families with children;
- large and low-income families;
- families affected by hostilities;
- pregnant women with internally displaced person status who are facing difficult life circumstances.
We strive to support those who need help the most. Therefore, before distributing assistance, we register recipients and clarify each family’s current needs.
What the Assistance Includes
Depending on available resources and the specific request, we provide:
- food packages;
- baby food;
- diapers and baby care products;
- personal hygiene products;
- essential household items;
- seasonal clothing and other necessary items.
The contents of the assistance packages may vary depending on the needs of families and the Foundation’s available resources.
How We Provide Assistance
Our volunteers make humanitarian trips to frontline communities, where they deliver assistance directly to families.
A charitable aid distribution point also operates in Kyiv. We announce registration and distribution dates in advance on our website and on the Foundation’s official social media pages.
Assistance is provided on a targeted basis following registration and confirmation that the applicant meets the eligibility requirements of the relevant programme.
Why Regular Support Matters
A family’s needs do not end after receiving assistance once. Food, hygiene products, and baby care supplies are needed on an ongoing basis.
Regular donations allow us to:
- prepare humanitarian aid packages in advance;
- respond more quickly to urgent requests;
- plan future humanitarian trips and distributions;
- help a greater number of families.
How You Can Help
You can:
- make a financial donation;
- donate new, non-perishable food products;
- provide baby food or hygiene products;
- assist with logistics;
- join us as a volunteer or partner.
Before donating any items, please contact the Foundation’s team to confirm the current needs.
Transparency of Our Assistance
We publish photographs of aid deliveries, reports on completed humanitarian trips, and the results of our humanitarian programmes.
Every contribution becomes part of real assistance provided to specific families.
